Policy.

Retainer/Payments:

The client shall make a half nonrefundable retainer at the time of booking. Upon payment, Alyssa will reserve the time and date both parties agree on. Remaining balances are to be paid no later than the session date. Payment plans are accepted for weddings and newborn packages. There is a $25 late penalty fee for any payments made after the scheduled due date agreed upon by both parties. 

Weather/Cancellation:

In the event of inclement weather and cancellations, Alyssa shall keep the retainer. The retainer may be applied to a new date. A new contract with the correct changes will be required. A client may only reschedule for emergencies reasons. 

Gallery Delivery:

You will receive your edited photos through an online gallery with your digital proofs 3-5 weeks after your session date to clients email address. All galleries expire 1 month after they are delivered. Photos will not be re-uploaded after 1 month has passed. Under no circumstances will Alyssa release raw images to the client. Alyssa releases the best representation of the images taken at the session; all other images are deleted during the culling process. Prints are not included but can be purchased through our website. 

Copyright:

Alyssa shall retain copyright ownership of all original and processed images. Duplication and submission of images is prohibited without written consent from Alyssa. You may not under any circumstances alter the images provided to you. These alterations include: cropping, filters, or modifications of any kind. 

Client Usage:

The images provided to you shall not be used for financial gain and should only be used for printing and digital files. Images shall not be submitted to consetes nor shall the client give consent to a third-party to reproduce such photos without written consent from Alyssa. Prints may be purchased through Alyssa’s website. 

Social Media:

The client may share images on social media platforms identifying “Alyssa K Photography” in all photographic captions. Alyssa has the right to ask such client to remove/delete the photo if credit is not given or if copyright law is not followed.
